Security Inspectors are responsible for making sure Training Logs are kept up to date, and that Command receive their points.
Section 2 > Expectations
Attendees are held to a standard when attending trainings. Failing to do so will result in a dismissal from the training, aka failing. Below is an expectation that all attendees must follow.
Attendees may not be AFK for more than 1/4 of the training.
Attendees are to display a level of maturity and respect. Occasional joking around is fine, however being a nuisance and disrupting the training is not.
Attendees are to follow the directions and orders of the host and co-host(s).
Attendees must participate in the training’s exercise.
These expectations are applied to all trainings. Hosts may include additional expectations within reason.
Hosts are also held to a standard when hosting or co-hosting Trainings. Failure to live up to these expectations can result in disciplinary action and possibly even demotion.
Hosts should always use hammer time in Training Schedule
Hosts/Co-hosts are expected to remain formal around attendees while also engage with them fairly when needed.
Hosts shouldn't overlap trainings with other hosts and communicate when necessary.
Hosts/Co-hosts are expected to make their game-modes fair and abide by the training handbook.
Command may only host up to Three Training per person every day.
Section 3 > Training Types
Riot Scenario

VC use is optional but highly encouraged.
Weapons & Equipment
Below are a list of firearms and other utilities that the Security Department as a whole (meaning detachments included) use. While it is preferred to stick to this list, it is not required.
Passing Requirements:
Passing requirements are to see if Security Cadets are fit to rank up to junior, the requirements are listed below, also known if they pass or not:
Must have 8 KOs or 2500 damage overall.
If 5 or fewer members attend, this requirement can be lowered by the host's choice.
Can’t be in the last 4 on the leaderboard more than 2 times.
May be lowered to the last 3 or the last 2 or raised.
Please take screenshots of the leaderboard before resetting them.
Be prepared to do some calculations in regard to damage and KOs.
Gamepass weapons are included in this list. Unnecessary equipment has been omitted from this list.
Advanced Combat Training
Advanced Combat trainings are meant to dive deeper into Paragon's combat system, building off of basic info taught in standard combat trainings. Whilst standard combat trainings focus more on general combat, advanced combat trainings teach SD how to adapt whilst in combat and use their setting to their advantage. These trainings count as CTs. These trainings are held on the SD Private Server.
Estimated Duration: 60 minutes
Objectives:
Improve SD Combat efficiency within Paragon's environment
Teaching SD proper strategy and tactics, whilst encouraging them to think critically whilst in combat through situational awareness
Teaching Security Personnel other important aspects of combat, such as finding proper cover, how to utilize callouts, chokepoints, how to utilize their loadouts, etc.
Passing Requirements:
Must not fail TWO simulations
Simulations:
Similar to Standard Combat Trainings, Attendees will be put through several simulations where they are both taught and tested on combat knowledge. However, where Standard Combat Trainings focus on general team vs. team combat, Advanced Combat Training should focus on smaller combat simulations, similar to situations Security Personnel may find themselves in on site.
Situations including but not limited to:
Sector breaching: Teaching attendees how to properly clear an area of possible hostiles without being terminated themselves.
Retaking a sector/sublevel: Teaching attendees how to retake an area by force, utilizing strategy and tactics.
Trigger Discipline: Putting combative in a situation where they must avoid hitting civil personnel.
Extracting: Teaching Security Personnel how to properly capture and SC DFSC Class-Ds without compromising themselves or their captive.
It is up to the host to determine which areas to cover within the training, as well as the area in which the simulation shall take place (Cleanrooms, Hamilton Office Complex, CDCZ, etc.). Hosts may also team Co-hosts either Class-D, GRU-P, or Civil personnel.
There should be around 2-3 simulations in each training.
Each Simulation should follow this Roadmap:
1: Game Sense and awareness:
The host will bring the attendees to the simulation area. Co hosts will be teamed to a hostile team. Attendees may be split into small teams if the host decides.
The host will quickly cover basic info on the simulation, including:
Situational awareness, and knowing not to rush blindly into a situation
Areas that may prove useful/detrimental in combat (Choke points, cover spots, flanking spots, etc.)
Proper ways to execute certain maneuvers such as pushes, room clearing, etc.
Any SD equipment that may prove useful in this type of simulation.
Senior+ and/or SRU are encouraged to provide input and/or leadership roles if divided into teams.
Part 2: Implementation:
Whilst the simulation is prepared, SD should be given time to develop an effective strategy with their respective company, whilst the host prepares the simulation. Voice chat is not required but is recommended.
SD ought to have free reign over what weapons and equipment they should use in the simulation, HOWEVER it MUST be something in their inventory. Detachment equipment is permitted.
When finished planning, SD will run through the simulation until the objective is complete. Should all members of a team be eliminated or fail the objective, they must restart the simulation. It is up to the host the number of times they may restart the simulation, if at all.
Part 3: Reflection
Teach SD what they've done wrong in combat situations, and how they could do things differently in the future
Possibly have co hosts give input, and even showcase a successful combat approach to the same situation
SD should also be questioned on how they may approach a similar situation in the future.
General Site Operations Training
Attendees will be taught how to act and respond to multiple different tasks and scenarios using brief explanations and demonstrations, allowing for them to learn the most important aspects of handling such tasks and scenarios without forcing them to sit through an entire simulation. Such scenarios are as follows: Test Escorting, Breaches, Riots, Raids, and any other type of task or scenario that could be encountered on-site. At the end, there will be a short quiz on the scenarios that were covered and the different things they may have needed to do.
Estimated Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Objectives:
Teach Security members how to act during possible scenarios they could encounter on-site.
Show Security members different aspects of being SD on site and what can occur while patrolling.
Passing Requirements:
Prove your knowledge at the end of the training with a short quiz of 6 questions, requiring 4/6 to pass.
Roadmap:
Training will start in Security Spawn, the host will pick 3 scenarios to go over, they can be as specific as the host wants to allow for them to teach every possible scenario, however, one of them must be the following: Breaches, Riots or Test ## Escorting.
The host will then teach the scenarios through explaining the guidelines and then making a short demonstration on the most important aspects of the scenario at hand. For example, during a riot, their main priority should be regaining control of the CDC and stopping CDs from getting to LB.
Once the host has gone through each scenario, they will come up with two questions for each scenario taught, equalling a total of 3 scenarios. The SD must get 4/6 to pass.
Orientation
Attendees will be taught the basics of the Security Department through a series of different topics. Security members will be taught how to station in the Class-D Containment Zone and the basics of the Security Department's operations. Basic regulations and conduct throughout the event. Cadets are required to attend an orientation to be granted access to the Security Department team on-site.
Estimated Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Before an Orientation begins, hosts should be informed that the Security Department Private Server is free to explore at any time and there are topics like the CCTV System, Infectious SCPs, etc. They should also inform the Cadets that the "Security Cadet Handbook" is available and will help them with their duties.
RoadMap:
Equipment Overview along with countering 662/268,
Breach Overview and how Base SD should react and respond,
Directions on where Cleanrooms is and what it holds,
Positioning in Tram Stations and Hostage Situations,
SD Positioning in CDCZ along with a tip to enter CDCZ,
SC'ing Class-Ds,
Escorting Class-Ds and which Class-Ds are a priority,
SCP Countering/Interaction,
Overview and what GRU-P looks like and what they do. (Along with when to avoid shooting them)
Referral to the Cadet Handbook for other important information,
Orientation Quiz;
Orientation Quizzes will only go over topics outlined within the event and will contain 6 questions. To pass, attendees are required to obtain 5/6 correct answers. The corresponding quiz rules are below:
Required to state the answer after each question is asked.
May state if they got it right or wrong after they have stated an answer.
Scoring:
The following is how an answer is assessed by the (co)host.
Answered correctly and gave all the required details correctly = 1.00 points.
Answered and gave most/half of the correct answers and details needed = 0.50 points
The answer gave incorrect details = 0.00 points.
Passing Requirements:
Attendees have not misbehaved.
Attendees have passed the quiz with a passing score of 5/6.
Joint Trainings
Joint Trainings are usually hosted by both SD Command along with another Department or Detachments command. This collaborative training strengthens the bonds of both departments/detachments and allows for both sides to better work alongside each other. Due to the nature of Joint Trainings, there is no exact way to host it. Sections should be decided and agreed upon by both sides. This can count towards a Scenario/Generalized training requirement, the host will decide this. Check with a Inspector+ before hosting.
SCP Scenario Training
Attendees will be taught how Security Department members should interact with Anomalies and how to react in certain Scenarios where Hostile Anomalies are present. This is done through lecturing and a Mock Scenario. Hosts will have to request Anomaly Actors for the Mock Scenario. It is also worth noting that hosts can make specific requests to the Anomaly Actor present to make the mock scenario situated for the objectives the host wants to get across. Examples include (Do not kill the Host or Co-host, Do not kill certain personnel, remain in X-Sublevel, etc) as long as it is not absurd.
Estimated Time: 30-45 minutes.
Objectives:
Teach Security members how to deal with certain scenarios with SCPs when no Eta-9 is present. Examples are:
How SD should react when 2561 is bothering SCP-527(Mr. Fish).
How to lure SCP-4966 away from SCP-2561 if it's chasing it.
Where to direct SCP-527 if it encounters SCP-2561.
Security members will also be taught that they shouldn't interfere with Eta-9 Procedures or mimic their duties unless otherwise stated.
Teach Security members how to approach Sentient SCP Breaches and which individuals should listen to during a breach.
Mimic a breach of a hostile anomaly to see if Security members will follow the correct procedures.
3-4 Mock Actors minimum for MP/SRU/Eta-9/FP
Mock Actors should be briefed on what they should do and their tasks.
Senior Coordination Training
To hold a greater emphasis on teamwork and leadership within larger servers in Paragon. Senior Coordination Training was created, teaching Security Seniors how to move groups through transfers, position Security during riots, etc. This training also allows Seniors to have access to Security Protocols, allowing them to further display their leadership along with being a stepping stone into the academy.
Estimated Time: 30-45 minutes.
Objectives:
Teach Senior Security how to position Security members during riots
Flank Locations should be accounted along with the use of equipment.
A major focus on advancing should be Transfer Gates and the Solitary Confinement Area.
Teach Senior Security the chain of command and a brief overview of what they should follow or listen along with who can they order.
