Members of the Security Department have a multitude of active duties that they have at their disposal.
The Security Department is responsible for ensuring security within the listed areas:
Hamilton Office Complex
Cleanrooms
Class-D Viewing Area
Train Stations
Solitary Housing Unit (S.H.U)
Class-D Containment Zone
Security Personnel should prioritize staffing the Class-D Containment Zone besides Cadets whom should prioritize other key points of interest unless authorized by or the following situations is met:
Security Guard+ (May override others in authorization/de-authorization)
Lambda-7 Operative+
MTF Specialist+
Protocol Riot or Rise is active
Security Personnel may not position themselves on any roof-top inside the Class-D Containment Zone.
Security Personnel are expected to position themselves in the following locations:
Catwalks
Guard Line
Testing Line
Infirmary Line
Security Personnel are expected to remain behind cover while guarding the Class-D Containment Zone.
Security Personnel should enforce the Class-D Containment Zone schedule while guarding, it is as follows:
Freetime - 20 Minutes
Testing Time - 10 Minutes
Lockup - 5 Minutes
During Freetime, Security Personnel are disallowed from striking any Class-Ds unless it is an instant DFSC reason. Lockup and Test Call follows regular striking procedures.
When Lockup occurs, it will be signaled by a ringing bell like the other Schedule changes.. Security Personnel are expected to push all Class-Ds present back to the green gates. In the case Class-Ds ignore or the first green gate closes, Security Personnel are to terminate and strike the corresponding Class-Ds.
If the Security Department has consistently kept the Class-D Containment Zone stable and staffed, Security Personnel may patrol around the site.
Security Personnel may patrol most areas around site with the exceptions of
Anomaly Containment Hub (Eta-9 Jurisdiction)
Department Spawns excluding the Security Department.
Control Room (AAC Jurisdiction)
War Room (O5 Jurisdiction)
Security Personnel should understand the key authority within common areas around site while patrolling, these include
JFK Administrative Complex (MP/Delta-1 Authority)
Hamilton Office Complex (MP Jurisdiction)
Class-D Containment Zone (Base SD Jurisdiction, SRU Authority during Riots)
VIPs w/ Delta-1 Guarding (Delta-1 Authority, overrides any other form of authority)
4. Security Personnel should avoid long idling periods while patrolling and should take into current server history when patrolling.
Jurisdiction = Authority but Authority =/ Jurisdiction.
The Security Department is responsible for escorting site operations involving Class-Ds. These are:
Scientific Test;
Check-ups;
Class-Ds hold the right to a check-up for healing.
Janitor Duty(SD);
Medical Volunteering(MD);
On-site Tours for Class-D(DEA/EC);
1.1 Escorts that Security Personnel may perform that do not involve the usage of Class-D are:
Chemical Escorts(ScD);
SCP Trailing Escorts(ScD);
Restocking Escorts (EnT);
On-site Tours for foreign affairs (DEA);
SCP Interviews (ScD);
Non-Class-D escorts are relatively short and are not bounded to specific procedures or rank restrictions except SCP Interviews.
Rank restrictions.
Security Cadets are disallowed from Class-D escorts unless supervised by a Guard+
Security Junior+ may only escort tests within the Cleanrooms and LCZ.
Security Guard+ may escort tests in MCZ.
All escorting must follow a ratio of 1:2 ratio of Security Personnel to Class-Ds.
All escort requests must be fulfilled unless:
Security personnel are unable to hold the guardline consistently
Security Sentinel+/SRU Agent deems the CDCZ unstable.
An Alarm Protocol is active.
Security Personnel may never leave escorted Class-Ds unattended.
Security Personnel must directly respond to the request with 'Copy.' in the Requests radio before proceeding.
Security Personnel must follow these procedures for escorting Class-Ds:
Retrieve any Class-Ds who are at the top of the priority list that are within the testing line area (indicated by the (#) next to their name, e.i nicolasoso2 (2) )
Disarm and brief them at the transfer gates by playing the video. Ensure they affirm to proceed, otherwise return them.
Place them within the backseat of your vehicle and pick up the Scientist if applicable.
Proceed to the testing location and request for extra assistance in the case of retrieving SCP Boxes.
7. Security Personnel may deviate from Class-Ds escorting procedures for Medical Volunteering, and Check-ups if certain procedures seem unreasonable or un-needed based on the context.
The testing hierarchy is as follows:
Security Department < Mobile Task Forces < Eta-9 (Required for Keter SCPs)
Should a unit of a higher priority be unable to escort an event, the next highest group will be responsible for escorting the event.
If going to the Cleanrooms/LCZ
Head towards the cleanroom checkpoint/Pit checkpoint.
Prepare any SCPs ScD requested
If the test involves SCP-035, Eta-9 presence is required.
If MP/Eta-9 is not present, inform via the combative radio that "a test is underway in CR/LCZ".
Disarm any participants who are attending the test.
Lead the test to the proper testing location.
Once the test has finished, SD should confirm all personnel are safe to return to previous activities and terminate and Class-Ds under the effects of SCPs.
Security will return the SCP used in testing back to the loading bay.
Security will escort any Class-D remaining back to the CDC.
If the Military Police are not present at the CR checkpoint, or MTF/Eta-9 are not present at the Pit/LCZ checkpoint, the scientist or Base SD should request them; if they do not respond in 5 minutes, Base SD will take over.
The Military Police have the authority to watch all tests and shut down any unethical tests in the Cleanrooms. Eta-9 has the same authority in LCZ.
If going to the MCZ
Head towards the Pit checkpoint.
Ask the test host for and check the classification level of the SCP involved.
If the test involves a Keter class SCP, Eta-9 presence is required.
If Eta-9 is not present or required, inform via the combative radio that "a test is underway in MCZ".
Once you have gone to the desired containment chamber, you will hold the Class-D outside of the Containment Chamber
Another Security Guard+ or the Test Host will station themselves in the control room outside the entrance to the chamber and will open the door when requested.
Once all CDs have been reported inside the containment chamber successfully, you will proceed back to the overlook.
After a test concludes, all Class-D who are physically unharmed will be sent back to Class-D Containment.
If Eta-9 are not present at the Pit checkpoint, the scientist or Base SD should request them; if they do not respond in 5 minutes, Base SD will take over. Any test involving a Keter SCP requires Eta-9 to be present and cannot go ahead without.
The Security Department is responsible for assisting personnel on-site, These duties are:
Retrieval of SCP Boxes
The act of assisting in bringing SCP Boxes
Reception Duty
Sitting in locations like the hamilton office complex's desk or the Security Department Spawn Desk and answering questions.
Taxi Driving

2. Security Personnel should prioritize Assistive Tasks for last, with Security Cadet+ holding top priority within it.
3. Security Personnel may advertise that they're performing these assistive tasks if they please.
